What size Torx wrench to undo bar end weights on an 08 GSA

Hi

I have a Kaoko throttle lock to fit to my 08 GSA and was expecting to find the correct size torx wrench in the OEM toolkit but no such luck, they're all too small. Should there be one in there?

Anyway, I now have to buy one so does anyone know what size I need and where to get one? I had a bit of a search and it seems it might be a size T55, is that right?

Do yourself a favour and buy a complete set of Torx bits, it'll make life so much easier in the future when you come to fit other bits and bobs. There's lots of advice here about where to buy the sets, the search button will be your friend.

I have a set attached with 3m DualLock to the inside of my topbox lid. Had it since my last 1200's FPC went and I needed the right size to get it out. Used it loads since.

... a T55, but be aware that lots of 'kits' don't include this size. You can get a single one at Halfords fairly cheaply

Halfords sell this set:

which fits nicely in the BMW tool roll or gets lost in your top box (hence I stuck it in mine with dual lock)

Sockets or T bars are better for home use tho.
