What sun glasses do you ride with

Maybe there was a thread on this before but hey ho.....

Always found it difficult to find a suitable pair of shades to wear whilst out on the bike, either not comfortable at all or they would slide down the ridge of me nose which is pretty annoying, having to lift the visor time and time again to adjust.
I know its down to personal choice but Ive found the ESS Ice shades are spot on for me and never leave home without them.
So what do you folks prefer...:D

Iv never felt comfortable wearing shades under my lid,just cant get on with them,in my scratching ricerocket days id wear dark visor,and now i have a flip lid with the sun visor,and i gotta say they are a real cool idea..just wear raybans off the bike...:Motomartin
 
I get issued with ESS and Wiley X protective glasses with are very good:thumb2

if I just need a set to have on Maui Jimmy's are amongst the best polarised lenses on the market in my opinion.
 
HSS smoked safety specs,look like ESS but £6.56 a pair,moveable/retractable arms,UV approved,polycarb shatter resistant when you lose them no problem ,buy them everwhere,good close windproof fit and not too dark

I have a set of these, quite good bits of kit with a selection of lenses
 
Its Friday its 5 to 5 its.... Crackerjack!

I've posted on this several times now, strongly recommend safety spec's with tints, scratch coat and mirror finish - look up 'crackerjack' by Swiss One. Boxed in 10's yu should get them around £3.50 -4 pr maybe less. Particularly comfortable arms under a helmet. Tried and tested others and there may be more competition in the market now but these still get my vote. Tints for day clear for night, because I like the visor up whenever possible.

Tried yellow low light vision ones as well but didn't get on with them.

If they fall of /get scratched open another packet.... and use them for gardening or skiing.

Whichever safety glasses you get (even try B&Q etc) do a peripheral vision check first (look sideways and slowly turn head) as some of the cheapies have a minor curvature distortion that gives you a headache after an hour or so!

I used to have a nice pair of Bloc sunglasses but mislaid them so I now wear a pair of Rage sunglasses by Arnette, like these...

Decathlon cycling glasses....they tilt on the frame which is handy when you're working hard off-road...you just tilt them up a bit ( I think they're designed for uphill racers) and the air flow demists them in a second or so.:thumb2
 
I often wear a pair of Winchester shooting glasses under my Shoei Hornet. Once you become accustomed to the different colour balance, they increase visual acuity in low contrast situations as well as working well in anything other than very bright sunlight. Having very fair skin and hair and blue eyes, I tend to wear sunglasses of some sort when I'm anywhere outdoors at most times other than mid-winter.

Fair Hair...are you sure thats the way to describe it......Phenomenal

I can't wear sunglasses the arms give me headache so i use a black visor
 
Nippy Normans supply Touratech, Wunderlich, Desert Fox and many other makes of accessories.
