My last g/s was a 1000cc Siebenrock special which I should never have sold....but now now another one equally as nice. My current is an exact replica as the day it left the factory ( apart from the BWM handguards I've fitted ). Mostly rebuilt with new parts etc etc.
Now...I fitted a lovely s/s Laser silencer to the Siebenrock...but in the meantime had also bought this MARVING silencer from the dirkbike show a couple of years ago. Paid £150 for it but never used it as I sold the Siebenrock g/s and the silencer remaining lost in the loft until today!!.

Question...
(a) do I start to butcher ( nicely ) my current G/s ?

(b) try to buy another g/s to build a special ?

(c) sell the Marving and re-coup my money ?

One question, why would you want to fit another dull black exhaust in favour of the original, what does it add?

Depends on if anybody needs one like that. Looks like you can't fit the LH side panel :(

PS I'll give you £50 for it ;) just so you have some space in your garage for the next bike :D

Getting ready to take the spanners to my mono :hammer

I'd hack it about a bit Kenny and make it your own. You don't want to get stuck in the Original bike rut and miss out on having some fun with it. Buy another tank and seat and put the other bits in the back of the garage for safe keeping.

I think it's too nice to F%ck about with. Leave it as it is buy somehthing that need some TLC and play with that. But saying that, I never like the idea of a bike thats "Too nice to ride". I've had a few like that. Far too stressful.

Kenny, yours is an exceptionally nice "original".. Getting more unusual these days so I would say keep it as it is but that does'nt mean you cant use it. I can se the attraction too of having a specialised one and there seen to be quite a few non originals that can be altered or improved.. Seems you should go down the "have one of each" road:)

F*ck me, you know who will have kittens if you start on your new bike.

Do it :green gri

One day maybe.

I know, he hasn't confirmed that I have the spare bedroom next June yet, either :(

Maybe, just maybe I will start looking for another g/s to play with..maybe that'll save my gonads !!!

That might be a VERY good idea
You use and keep the bike original and feck around with a special and I'll be happy:thumb2
Spare room looks like it may be a goer if I can sort out my clutter.:o
Just remember, the rebuilder of YOUR bike will be attending, and you do not want to make him unhappy:augie

as an aside, i DO like that pipe :augie you wanna sell ?? I'll p/ex the first new forkbrace I get made :augie

LOL - just teasing you re the spare room..I'll glady muck it with the rest of the men in a muddy field .... don't you worry about my aging bones, I'm sure I'll be OK :fiddle

How big is this Lancaster fella..hate to get on the wrong side of him, especially if my angle grinder starts calling me tomorrow

Part ex your R90s against that exhaust :bounce1

P.S. Just ten days to go before your modification ( just thought I'd mention it:augie )!!!

Oh nuts I wish I hadn't looked at that picture again, now I have the Q-Tech site up and scaring myself looking at the price of that rear end and cockpit.

Looks like an expensive dog to me:blast

I had a better one for less dosh:augie

That seat is no good for more than 30 miles.................trust me I've tried it - the Hiace Van won over and over again

Thats not Trippys
It's the one that got Trippy in a "Basic" frame of mind :D
IMHO Trippys is better than that one :thumb2

Your right it is and I'm picking up my new seat in the morning.
I like the Q-Tech cockpit though its alot tider than mine.

I know which bike it is, you muppet:P:thumb

It's the Qtech built Basic that one of their customers wanted 12500Euro's for recently

Trippy's bike is better, much better

You only want a QTech rear end if you're going offroad in a competitive way

Otherwise you can't carry anything bigger than a face flannel
