What to look for on a 1999 Cali EV

being a newbie to Moto Guzzi'sand going to look at a 1999 1100 Cali EV

can anyone give me any tips on what to look for

I'm sure I've read that the rev counter can just give up and that the front mudguards are prone to rusting, but neither is a major deal.

Others will be along with more detail (and 'hands on' wisdom) shortly I expect.

I fancied buying one from (IIRC) Big Den on here, but it had already gone - if you PM him, he may tell you what it was like. Mind you, he's probably had another 35 bikes in the interim (it was about 2 years ago) so he may struggle to recall .......
