What we like to see on the new 2019 GS !

Back to basics

Proper base model ... no frills ... GSA

But sort the quality ... not good that they need to be coated in ACF50 or something

Panniers that still fit & a price reduction. Getting too dear for a TE and anything else is made to feel like a poverty version.

Cup holders.
Ashtray, like the GSA has on its tank top. Very useful.
Sort the build quality out BMW. It's shameful, it really is. New frame, new engine and new left fork all down to crap quality on my GS. SHAME ON YOU.

@Troppo;I have next to my GSLCADV a Euro-3 R Nine T with tubeless forged wheels.I love that bike.Especially with the 17 inch frontwheel much quicker steering than the GS/Scrambler versions with the larger 19 inch front wheels and more raked out geometry. It is a fun bike to look at and ride !

Some might laugh, but mate had this on his Harley, I tried it just for fun, and never laughed again, damn useful idea especially when bike is fully loaded.

Messed around with it on K1600 and it's brilliant. I like others have limited space to get the GSA into the garage and would certainly help up the small incline instead of taking a run at it. It's just a matter of time before I trip/slip and go arse over tit with the beast on top of me ;)

How about this..

Looks like a Honda Crossrunner

If the rest of Europe does not follow the britsh lead as in EU-xit and the european bankster union should survive 2020/Euro-5 will spell the end of aircooled motorcycle engines...:( Because even leaner and quieter than Euro-4 will be the death of aircooled engines that are mechanically louder and run too hot because they run too lean.
Get your R Nine T while they are making them for another year and a half unless the EU goes away and we go back to Euro-3...:beerjug:

150hp
15kg weight reduction
Backlit switchgear
Built-in Nav to the TFT
RS gearing, or make it geared 10% longer.
Heated seats
2" narrower handlebars

A decent screen
Heated seat
More power
Better build quality

I have the 2018 GSA Rallye - so all that is required is a wunderlich foot enlarger, fender extender, mudsling and an extra inch on the screen all to come as standard - don’t need much else.

17" wheels as standard, option for 19" if folks want to 'off road'. Lets be honest, most people use them as a road bike.

A significant weight reduction would be good and would benefit power to weight ratio.

Not much else tbh.

More power like the 1260 MS and 1290 KTM offer for sure...:thumby:Less weight would be ideal but I don't expect this because where would they weight savings come from ?
Lighter material like mag or ti costs too much money and a smaller tank would be a no !
What I forgot to mention the new 2019 should go back to individual turn signal indicators like on the 2013-16 and not like the 2017 on that lights up left/right at the same time.A small point but still...

150 bhp
Electric screen
Backlit switches
Heated seats
Sat nav in TFT screen
Rear aux power as standard
More colour choices
3 Year unlimited mileage warranty, 5 year corrosion warranty.

Definitely 3xblack from the beginning....:thumb2
Or at least single black as in tank/beak,drivetrain and frame...:thumb
150hp,17 inch wheels,ADV/Rally suspension with more ground clearance and shorter trail for quicker steering,2 "left side" full size aluminum bags,Rally 2-person bench seat,Akra Euro-3 pipe with removable baffles and a real ignition key instead of keyless - that would tick all my boxes to trade up...:thumby:
TFT I don't want or need but if the GPS is included on the screen I would be no dealbreaker for me.Pretty close to the perfect streetbike !
Hopefully at Intermot 2018 in october...:beerjug:
