Whatever colour you want Sir!

Just popped into Ocean and was surprised to see 2 GSs in non standard colours waiting for their new owners to collect them.
One was in Estoril Blue metallic which is available on most BMW cars and seems the same as the blue on the tri colour S1000RR. Very classy and a bit less of an in your face blue than the lighter/brighter standard blue.
The other was a standard red GS but with the grey side panels of the tank in white and the air intakes to the engine on either side (not the rad covers) in standard red. Caught the eye to say the least after the relatively 'quiet' standard colours.
I spoke to Richard and Ian and apparently you can have whatever colour/scheme you want for an extra cost.

Always been a bit surprised that ALL dealers don't do this

They all use paint sprayers regularly for touching stuff up and insurance work, so you would have thought some bright spark would just get a standard price from their sprayer, double it and add it to their options list

Ocean have their own body shop (for Cars) therefore pretty simple, two packed my rear subframe under warranty even better..

I bought a red one because I could get it quicker .... And repainted it thunder grey !! Only 2 panels to paint !! The dealer I bought mine from Williams had already painted one sapphire black ( Triple black colour ) and one in metallic blue !
