I have a notion that i fancy a T3 , its just another itch , that needs scratching
Now i know its like asking how long is a piece of string .
This bike is in great condition , not original.
Everything frame related that should be black is powder coated ,
New wires , new rims , lot of stainless in non stressed areas.
Lovely to look at , Down side is ,, its a single seat ? ..

76 BTW

Can't comment on price, but check that the clutch splines are ok - let the clutch out gently at idle till it bites. Can you get back from the bite by gently pulling in the lever and have it disengage? Or does it grab and move off? If so you're likely to need clutch centre, clutch plates and possibly a flywheel if they're worn and grooved...

You may as well have a single seat as the buddy seat on the Cali as it isn`t big enough to take a pillion.

calling Keith Chapman calling Keith Chapman

What's wrong with a single seat? ;-)
Besides, lots of spares around, many parts of 850 / 1000 models of the same era fit
Call Guzzibits - they bought the Guzzi stock from motoworks

Pete , since the French connection , has turned into a
think of a figure guy.
He sent me a picture of some parts he was trying to sell me ,
It was junk , but he did say it would be cheap ! .......

I sent it down to mick at Moto corsa , and he tested it .
Well and truly knackered .
I was going to re-chip her with a creedon chip anyways , so i have the
upgrade chip waiting , Pete has one , but asked me Eur250 for it ,
i can get a Ducati 748 , from Hills for £80/90 delivered , i think i will go the
Hills /Ducati route , they are all 16M Ecus , just the differing chips..

This was put up on the Guzzi forum yesterday:

1978 T3 California. Excellent condition, fires up first time and ridden most days. MOT til April 2013. Lots of original parts, including screen, and almost complete service history (classic bike specialist Victory Motorcycles has overseen bike for last decade). Owned bike since 1999 and only two previous owners. £3,299 ONO.
