How about a 900 or 1200 triumph Trophy.?2001/2002?
which is the better 900 or 1200?

I had a 2003 1200 Trophy just before I got the 1200gs.

It handeled well, had so much torque that you didn't really need the brakes. I liked the riding position and its slow moving stability, but at speed it was the screen that let it down 'mine had the more upright screen'.

Along with the screen, it was the build quality of the bodywork that let it down. Water in the panniers after only a light shower was a pain.

Cheap as chips, will eat motorway miles and still return excellent MPG, best sorted of the old K-Series fours.

Best of all, so cheap you could keep the GS too!
