What's this plug for/do?

If it's in the handbook, I apologize for being lazy

sits under the seat minding it's own, I've no idea was fiddling about with my HP today thinking much the same...

and that I needed to fit the new headlamp....

the work shop connector is the size of a film canister near the petrol tank, the plug seperate connector is a good find...

I'm now gonna read the book...

I did'nt get the owner manual... double bugger...

could it be the temp sensor? as the loom must be the same as the standard 1200?

It's not... it's going in for a service I'll ask'em them....

There's a charcoal canister thing (something to do with petroleum vapours), that sits in that peculiar curved space over the mud slinger and under the seat on bikes imported into A'merkin land. The connector is for that, so serves no purpose here in UK & Europe, the space is therefore a convenient place for us to store stuff.

So that's what the stupid space is for I've been putting a can of drink in there...
