I dont understand how these older bikes with big miles keep holding this sort of value, perhaps someone can advise me how apart from 13 watchers (must be nosey bstards) and one guy from belgium who wanted to give me it up asre , why nobody is biting my hand off for this

Not allowed to view the for sale section, I'm not that nosey to pay for the privilege, But If your suggesting that an 04 shouldn't be valued so high, I can only assume that what your selling is a pile of shite.

My GS that I sold recently on eBay had 38 watchers, but only 2 people called with offers. I figured that most of them were from here, just being nosey.:blast

Try putting a note on the sale with a deadline when it will be removed. That worked for me.:D

thanks nutty, good shout :thumb

Oh my god what have I done.

Bloody hell ladies, peace and love maaaaaan. lifes too short to be bitching and sniping at each other. besides you're going off topic now. I was asked by Nutty Gser what Im gonna do. and the answer seems to me that due to my shoulder now being fecked i have to either: Sell the GS, or find someone who wants a gs plus some money from me for thier 800 GS which they were just about to sell anyway....... is this likely, well i dunno. I can tell you without fear of contradiction though I really dont want to go down the EBAY route unless feck all works.

So, generally speaking with 38k on and being an 04 and in good condtion, might i expect about £5200 for it. theres a cracking 800 going on here with a 33BHP restrictor which i could probably get taken out in double quick time.

What says you all???? (no name calling and fighting please Ladies and gennelmen.!!!)

thank you and goodnight from me (maybe)

Mark,

You have a busy life. Your hard to keep up with. I have a brother like you. Makes me feel boring.

I have a DRZ SM in very good condition if you want a nice nimble bike. I rather fancy a 1200 GS even an old one.

What's it worth one?

Look in the pages of MCN's For Sale section and find something similar.

What's it worth two? What's the fbest figure you can get out of the final tyre kicker who sees the bike.

Jb, just a quick question. Who is Nick Marshall. Am i to assume he too has been knocked off his bike by an errant twat in a van or does he change his bikes quite often, err do tell:beerjug:

OR, maybe its NONE of the above.

Ah you've answered, bad news about the injury
Nick - he's on here, sells his bikes very regularly
800GS - enjoy it
