I've had this for sale for a while now and it really does have to go (divorce, need four wheels and a project to start). It's got everything a K13S owner could possibly want!

It was originally £8750, I reduced it to £8150, not a nibble. What does anyone (seriously!) think it's worth at this time of year?

BMW K1300 S Sport
2012 '62' plate
23k miles (in use, will increase).
Black with gloss black wheels & dark tinted screen.
ABS, Traction Control, Electronic Suspension Adjustment, Shift Assist, Tyre pressure monitoring, Heated grips, BMW Navigator IV satnav, Sports luggage, BMW rack and Soft Bag 2 small. Datatagged. HP rider footrests (adjustable billet rear sets, made for BMW by Gilles Tooling) .
Full BMW history. Recent major service (£600+). Just passed its first MOT with no issues.
Michelin PR4 tyres (recently fitted).
Mature, advanced rider owner.

Blame the ZZR1400. Chain drive is the choice for those wanting a fast sports tourer. And like the car market has gone all cross over crazy so the motorcycle market has settled for more urban style concious designs with basic but softer suspension and do it all comfort. You only need one buyer.

Could try putting details into webuyanybike.com to give you idea 're bottom end of valuation scale, and go from there?

I'd be looking at what the dealers are selling them for then knocking £1500 to £2000 off as a guide

There currently 46 for sale on e-bay

Either ask 6995 expecting 6500 or auction it with a reserve. There are many with 6 - 8000 miles like yours for that sort if figure and with a warranty. Sorry but that's where it is right now.

Well, it is what it is. Great for those in a position to buy because it's a hell of a lot of bike for very little money.

If I could keep it I would, I cannot imagine what could replace it - certainly nothing made by BMW. Having said that, my requirements have also changed and I no longer have a 1000 mile / week winter commute, which is what I was doing when I bought it back in October 2013. Since then it's been local journeys only - except for a 620 mile round trip to spend the day working on an anti-aircraft gun, a couple of months ago.

Maybe BMW will get round to building a production version of the Concept 6, if not I may have to do one for myself...

The mileage is high for the year, but it has had the important 18,000 mile service, which is a big cost !

You are now in the dead zone, and unlikely to find your buyer before the early spring unless you really drop your pants on price.

If you want to avoid fleabay, you could try Phil Hawksleys BM bikes forum, and maybe the bmwlt forum which has many UK members.
