Ah, well, the buyer might have been a crazed Russian billionaire with a proxy bid of £10000...
It does seam rather low - why?
Is it a case of a recently rebuilt (by a reputable engine builder), cleaned, powder coated example is £3-4000 but if original tatty then £1,500 to £2,000?

I suspect the registration issues went against Oggy's bike. The standard paralever's still haven't caught on with UK riders either who seem more focused on potential investments than actually riding the bikes.
The German bike is a 1000cc as well which makes a difference to it's desirability.
