I'm fitting to GS this week a set of Ring 12v daytime running spotlights switched/wired through fuzeblock bought recently from NN. Quick question please ( no diagram supplied with lights ) - what would a third wire into the spot be for ? Power and ground easily identified using a spare battery and as there is no dipping function I'm a bit curious ?

Any suggestions appreciated .

At a guess it is probably to wire into your lighting loom so that you don't need a separate switch.

Some drl have dual function, as in really bright in day time but dim to half brightness when vehicle lights are turned on. Might be needing three wires to make it happen?
Soz, just realized you say there is no dipping function.:blast
