What's the best time to get a good deal on a new bike?

dont they have monthly targets,if so the end of the month, maybe when the winters in as well

Closing time............................:D

They just want rid of you, so they can get off home:P

NOW !! Got a Cracking deal on a GSA 2 weeks ago at Chandlers Brighton . PX values have rocketed in value so cost to change is good :thumb2
Bought a 6 month old T Max yesterday for 6 grand. List new was £8500 . You van get cracking deals at the moment :thumb2

Any time is a good time, if you know how to negotiate properly:P

Anytime you can negotiate but you can get better deals in winter or if a bike has been launched for a while. This definitely applies to a twincam GSA so go for it! ;)

Bike buying

A couple of days before the end of the month as the sales people want to get their commision in

Mid December would be your best bet which is when I bought my last bike ;)

Motorbikes and cars are best bought a few days before Christmas.NOBODY buys those items at this time therefore dealers are desperate to shift stock.

It's also due to a bit of luck, they will have dealership targets for quarters, half year and full year, so it will depend on what they will need to sell in that period.
One thing to look for are BMW's own ex management bikes, these are often supplied to the dealership 6 months old and very low miles. I have just bought a F800ST for Mrs Bob with all the extras 340 miles at £1500 off new ( Ian at Ocean BMW Plymouth)

"... before the end of the quarter ..." Does that mean end of March, June, Sept. and Dec. then? Or do their quarters begin and end some other time?

Does this apply to new and used bikes? I rather fancy the ex-management stock as mentioned in Bob's post below, I usually buy my cars ex-demo too.
