Sometimes here, sometimes there...
Am about to take the plunge and swap the RT for a GS.

The only thing I don't like on the GS is the screen. It just doesn't give the protection and peace and quite that I want.

I'm 5'11", with a 32" in-seam. Standard seat, set on high to get the right seat/bar/peg geometry leaves head too exposed. Putting seat on low helps with noise (though it's still not great) but makes hips hurt.

Who's tried what replacement screens and with what effect?

ta in advance...

well well well,i have a wunderlich ergo with a mra spoiler

You know I'm a huge fan of the RT but I'm getting too old and weedy to push it around the garage and I'm not doing all the long-distance commuting any more.

Having taken a GS out for a good "social" ride on Thursday, I realised (again) that it's probably a better bet for the kind of riding I/we do most of the time these days. Similar thought process to you swapping off the GSA...

yep tbh i dont regret it one bit,i do very slightly miss the fuel range though

GSA screen + MRA X-Screen + Cymarc supports.

Buy the Puig screen off this site for £40 and Givi support for around £25. Job done.

I have a Givi 5108DT on mine and its very good. Its not to big but it does a good job. Keeps off the rain and there is no roar or buffeting of the helmet. Result :thumby:

+1 for the Givi, fantastic screen, works best with Cymarc brackets.

I have the MRA vario on my GSA and am very pleased with it. Its not too large ( I
prefer to look over screen than through it) and really smooths the airflow around
the rider. In rain, I have it in the fully up position and it does give a lot of protection.

My mate has a much larger screen (not sure of the make) on his GSA which needed
screen supports and he is very happy with his.

Horses for courses I guess.:beerjug:
