What's the difference in the "basic" and "complete" tobinators for the Adv?

What's the difference in the "basic" and "complete" tobinators for the Adv?

Can anyone tell me what the difference between these two items is...

TOBINATORS - R1150GSA (Adventure) -basic kit
TOBINATORS - R1150GSA (Adventure) -complete set

They can be seen on www.nippynormans.com

I know the complete set includes "adaptors" and it says "They are essential if you have an Adventure" but what are they for? If you need them (as they say) then why is there a basic set at all?
