Enabb me old chum,

If that’s a photo of your bike, what ever you paid it, it seems obvious to me that you were stitched-up …

Just an opinion, … no need to shoot me down in flames :D

and the GS Adv is

...ie the standard gs is fun and the adv is made in france and stuffed with wallnuts
:D

busa

I done this swap back in 2000,The only thing I think you will miss is when you twist the throttle on a busa you go forward on a GS you don,t,well it does, but like a snail. So if you can live without that need for straight line speed IMHO it's great bike and will run rings around a busa on the right roads.I certanly don't miss those £160 rear tyres ever 2k.Compared to a busa the GS is peanuts to keep on the road.Go for it.Andy

thanks for replies

hayabusa rider thinking of buyin GS wots so different btween 1150gs and 1150 adv besides price

It's an interesting switch - changing from a low, fat, fast, ugly bike to a tall, fat, slower, ugly bike!

Go on m8 do it - you won't regret it but make sure you join the Hair Dressers and get a silver one :D

I was only saying to my lady the other day ..........

Before you do it you must take a test ride of a decent length, very different bikes.

I say this because if you change your mind you will lose on the depreciation side if you want to change back.

France???? France?????? Oh dear, oh dear :nono !

'The Muscles From Brussels' has always been, so I suppose always will be, a BELGIAN  !

The best one's the Silver Adventure by the way :D !

It's important to understand that all these hairdressing Adv riders only ever polish their bikes an trailer them to meetings. Real men ride understated stealthy plain black bikes.

I would advise you go for a stock, hard as nails black GS1150. Why carry all that extra weight and things that can go wrong ;)

Black GS1150s are quite obviously the best.
:D

Ben.

Remind me what I was supposed to be doing to your GS tomorrow:P

P.S ADV's are more reliable than the 1200's

Eyeing it up and regretting your decision to buy an Adv? ;)

Although I would be kind enough to take those nasty cast wheels off you and replace them with my stained spoked ones, in an attempt to make your bike look a bit more butch :P
