What's the tallest aftermarket screen available for the 1200GS LC?

The screen is great and the cymarc brackets work very well. I just dont like the look of the screen, so looking for a tinted GSA screen come spring. I might drill it and transfer the spoiler from the puig onto it so help with buffeting.

Does the Puig screen offer better wind protection / management than the original GSA screen as fitted by BMW?

Loads better, takes all wind noise and buffeting off the helmet. Its quite chilly here at the moment, and the I've got no wind around my shoulders / neck which is nice.

The view is obscured slightly, I'm glad its light smoke and not a dark smoke. heres an idea of the height. I'm 5' 11" and the camera is mounted at cheek height.

I also didn't like the screen affecting my view when in the higher positions so I put it into the lowest position and discovered that it was just as effective, and still far more effective than the stock GSA screen. Not sure why, but it is... :nenau

Edited to add 6'2" height, FWIW.

Does anyone have any experience wit the MRA type screen extensions? I don't really want the larger Puig screen you guys adopted (Crotchrocket, grinninggser) if I can "get away " with the standard screen ? Im 6 ft 1 ( 2016 R1200GS triple black)

The MRA vario screen works well for me but it depends on your height though. I'm 5'8" as a reference.

I recently fitted an MRA Vario Screen to my GSA, I have only been out it once since but was very
impressed, cuts down the turbulence and makes it a much quieter place to be. I thought the screen
was very well made and easy to fit, 5 minute job.:thumb

(Praise to BS-Motoparts Germany for accepting the 30 day return for mu unwanted dark smoke Puig touring screen. A good company to deal with :D:thumb2 )

Mine has been working brilliantly and it's great because I don't like tall screens. I just came back from a 5 days 3000klm trip in all kinds of weather and the screen did it's job very well.

For the first time,in 11 years of GS ownership,I have a pleasant motorway bike. With my new Puig touring screen I can ride with my visor up at high speeds and only have a slight breeze in my sunglasses protected face. I like the visor open when riding. (Screen on lowest setting, sun visor accessory, Cymarc screen brace: ESSENTIAL, GSA and 6ft 3" tall).
