After finally having getting round to refitting the rear shock, swing arm and final drive, I have this plastic spacer/shim/washer thingy left over. Looks like it should be part of FD pivot but I've looked at realoem diagrams and can't find a match. Not even sure if it belongs on my bike, but it was in the bits removed box and it's making me nervous.
Any ideas?

Hello there ow you doing. I think it might be the foam/felt type seal for the inside needle bearing of the paralever pivot on the final drive unit, the outside one under the little black plastic cap has a ball bearing, the needle bearing and that seal supports the other end of that pivot assembly unsure if that description makes sense. I will Take a pic or something tomorrow if you need more info.

Cheers mate, it's rigid plastic so don't think it's that one. But a pic would be appreciated.

Looks to be
Far bigger than 38/30/2.5 though
Actually I might be reading his guage wrong. Could be.
It's 30x23x2.5 rigid white plastic(nylon?) I think part 17 is the squishy seal.
Cos of the protracted time from dismantling the swing arm/final drive to check and regrease to refitting it I have no idea where this part came from but it was in the tub after everything was back on the bike.
Anyways I decided to take the FD unit off again last night and the pivot components all seem to be in place and correct according to diagrams on realoem.
I did find out that this bit ia a perfect fit over the FD splines though
Might have even dropped it in the wrong tub by mistake whilst fiddling around in the garage...but you know what it's like, that nagging feeling you've forgotten something.

I was wrong too the inner needle "seal" is larger than that, mine is an 05 too but there is nothing like that on the prop either still a mystery item then.
