What's this plug then?

Looks like it used to blank something that is now in use. Sat Nav socket or some other accessory plug?

Have you had the lean angle sensor / abs / fancy brake system installed ?? (Standard on >2015 bikes) ?? I haven't, and i havent got one of those .. !

Sorry, should have said, the plug is in the tool kit.

Giles, you've confused me big time now! I though the lean sensitive gubbins was on 2014 onwards.......are you sure?

EDIT: I guess, Gurstang, that it may have been put in there by the dealer when they set the bike up? But no access. were fitted by them.........

You can throw it away Andres. It's only needed during the first few weeks of ownership. After that, you get used to how feckin' fast the bike is (compared to a BMW tractor) and therefore no longer need the butt plug to keep your pants clean.

It may be 2014 ... Can't quite remember! I just know I haven't got it but it can be retro fitted ... !

So there was me thinking the TC was allowing me to do those impressive 2 wheel drifts out of roundabouts yet all along I really AM a riding god

Just copied this off the KTM website (blurb about the 2015 models)..........

Already in 2014, the 1190 Adventure, together with its "R" sister model, has been turned into what is currently the world's safest motorcycle - yet still with undiluted riding pleasure. It was the first motorcycle, offering Bosch's new MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control). MSC enhances the existing package consisting of lean-sensitive traction control and ABS featuring a combined braking function with a world first: the first ever lean-sensitive cornering ABS.
