It’s called a coding plug IIRC. If you plug it into the socket in the same location you will unlock the Enduro Pro mode. When it’s connected the bike also remembers your preferred suspension settings instead of returning to defaults when you cycle the ignition.

I couldn’t vouch for most people but I certainly have on all my bikes. I am pretty sure it’s not put in at the factory because it unlocks a mode that has no ABS or traction control by default.

When i asked my salesman what the dongle was for he said ' you dont need that, do not plug in'
