What's wrong with my home computer???

When I'm at work and trawling through this site, I can see all the banner/links for Hograost & various dealers, links at the top of the page for NN etc, avatars that move & smilies that move.

But when I'm at home I don't mostly get none of that. The odd banner (today I have the Pink Way Round one), no moving avatars or smilies (Tigger is the only one that moves - why is that), pictures that were in posts at work have now disappeared.

The pictures at the top of the page change OK, but that's about it.

Any clues / suggestions as to what might be (or not) going on, this hasn't just happened, but been going on for a while. I think I asked on here before, but had no response.

No, all I have is AVG and Zonealarm

do either AVG or ZA have privacy settings enabled? i am not familiar with AVG but ZA pro version has these.

try turning both progs off & see if the problem goes away.

Turning AGV off made no difference

Turning ZA off everything seemed to work, turned it back on and the banners disappeared again, smilies stopped working, but now some of the avatars work (Cookies being one )

Now what?

it seems ZA is the problem then.

is it the pro version? if so you will have a screen like this accessible by clicking on the ZA icon in the system tray (near clock). it may well be the same in the free version now, but i don't know 'cos i don't have it here.

are the sliders set like this above?

No, none of that on the free version (tight-wad that I am), don't have that privacy tag or the one beneath it.

It might be the browser:
Some sites are good with the browser OPERA, and some are best with Internet Explorer.
I.E; I can't use the smilies at this site if I use Opera, or see the klickable buttons at some other sites with Opera.
