Hi looking for advice,
Had thoughts on changing my spoked wheels from the later r1200gsa/ r1250gsa with 170mm rears and 120mm fronts wider wheels and tyres, onto my 2008 r1200gsa with 150mm rears and 110mm fronts, like the look of having fatter tyres.
I have heard said thinner tyres turn in easier, but does 20mm and 10mm wider make much difference?
I know the shaft on later bikes is on the wrong side (lol) so the tyre fitted would have to be changed round as in wrong direction. Will they fit okay?
Reason for change is I wanted a spare set of wheels with different style tyres on it. Anyone done this conversion?
