I did my set last year.

I used plastic straws sliced and cut to size that I put over each spoke. I used chewing gum chewed and popped on the ends of the spokes at the black rims to stop the black paint covering the chrome end pieces. All sounds mad and is time consuming but I was happy with results.

I then used hammerite smooth silver for hubs and hammerite black on rims.

Plenty light coats, warm the spray tins in warm water and warm the wheels as best you can. I’ve cover over 2000 miles on them and they clean up well. I did coat them in XCP as well.

I'm properly impressed with those and your patience. No way have I got the mindset to do that.
Good work.
