wheel swap 1150 to 1100?

Wheel swap.

I have read elsewhere on this site that 1150 (non-adventure) wheels can be fitted to the 1100.

Can anybody give me advice regarding the following wheel swap?

1150 2003 - non abs to 1100 1996 – with abs

I have called the people at Motorworks this morning and they a reasonably confident it can be done (possible need latter abs rings) but are not 100%. Apparently, the latter 1150 has a different part number for the hub, but the spindle and spacers remain the same.

As far as I know, the wheels are 100% interchangeable. Does the 1150 wheel you have have the holes for the ABS ring bolts ?.
If so, it should fit no problem.
I have a spare ABS ring that you can have (which was kindly donated to me by another member of this board). Email me at [email protected] if you want a present of it.
