Hi all, just kicking a question into the ring, has anyone heard or managed to fit 17in wheels (to the front) to the 1200's and can you get hold of 5.5in rims for the back. which could open up some serious 180'' road rubber. i know it could make the bike a little twitchy at the front end, but the turn-in would spot on and with a contact patch & compound a 180 would provide, coupled up with the drive of the flat twin, would make it un-catchable in the twisties

I know its not a "sports-bike" but its always good to know

ps. anyone going to the Garmisch bash???

the bike looks wicked (apart from the colour) those side panels are top-draw

any ideas what the costs are???

Noy too sure Teestar, from memory when I saw them at Intermot, they were pretty expensive. Being AC Schnitzer you should be able to get them from BMW dealers.
