2007 not a problem
On our 26000km trip we managed to have our reader sitting on zero for a good 20km on several different occasions... it makes things just a little tense to be honest with you as I am normally the first to fill up.. however when this type of thing happened to us we had already used up all our fuel and topped up using jerry cans for stretches which would be close to 1000km between fuel stops... its not a nice feeling but we always stick to low gentle riding on longer stretches where we know there is no fuel.. I suspect they may need to adjust your fuel sensor thing at the dealership.
