When did the Centre Stand and Side Stand Change?

There is a guy selling a few items on E-bay:
- Touratech belly pan - 230056715885
- Touratech mainstand bash plate - 230056720580
- Touratech side stand switch cover - 230056724827
That say:
- they have changed the mainstand to a square one, so it will only fit yours if your stand is a curved one
- they have changed the mainstand shape, so look first if its square it will not fit, curved no problem
- it will not fit my new gs as they have changed the stand, it will fit a gs with the curved mainstand only, not the square one

Mine is a 2006 (well bought in 2006 anyway - manufactured end'ish 2005) and the mainstand is made of round tube but is not curved (made from straight sections) - does that constitute the 'new' square one?

Yes' it's the latest version.

Look at the horizontal bar. If it is curved it's the old one.

Changes were made to the 2006 model.

mine was manufactured March '06 and has the square centre stand.

It looks like mine is the new one - my horizontal bar is straight (thank goodness!)
