They're all in the dealers mate. All the rich buggers who are buying the new 1200 have got so much cash, they couldn't care less about dropping a grand or two by trading-in rather than selling privately.

I don't know if they are ? If you check out the Used bike section of the BMW dealers websites, there are very few listed - I counted around 24 nationwide earlier today. Which deepens the mystery even more, because if the dealers haven't got them, where have they gone ?

A mate of mine went to look at a 2002 1150GS Graphitan with full B*W luggage, heated bits, ABS , 13000kms and FSH. The guy has ordered his 1200GS. He was asking Euro 11000 and claims that the dealer has offered him 10500 in P/ex. Considering that it cost 13000 new (with the extras) these things are holding their value pretty damn well IMHO.

Took 1150 out today ,saw a 1200 on the road and realised why I got a GS in the first place. So changed my mind and will not go for a 1200 after all
