Where can I buy smallest and very precise air temperature measurer for GS ?

Hi !

If anybody knows where can I buy the Smallest and very precise air
temperature measurer to mount it on 1200 GS -08 ?,


I will be very very happy to get some good info from you, link or just name of the producer.

Wunderlich do an analogue temp instrument that mounts on top of the yoke instead of the plastic cap.. Its billet aluminum, v well made and costs £40 I think. Mine has lasted well for 2 years so far. V useful on cold days when +1 to -1 makes all the difference in the world...
 
the downside is that when you switch the engine off and the bike cools down, heat rises through the thermometer, so it won't read properly...
 
Most importantly you want to know what the temperature is at ground level, not 3' up - the temperature gradient between the ground and the top of the yoke is quite large as air is a very poor conductor of heat.
 
I use a digital thermometer with a remote sensor mounted under the front edge of the beak. Despite being away from the engine, the temperature reading always rises when the bike is stationary.
