I accidently stood on the plug that fits into my accessory socket from the SP111 GPS and snapped it. The fuse/connector thing that is inside the connector must have fallen out. I have managed to glue the bits together but now need to get the 1A fuse that goes inside - anyone know where I can pick one up from as I don't really want to fork out on another lead as I have only used it once.

Here is the plug opened up - obvioulsy haven't got a picture of the connecting fuse from inside but its about an inch long, white, and slightly narrower diameter than a pencil....

Not sure but I think they are called radio fuses, I am sure I got some a long while ago in B & Q for a light transformer, also I think those electric shaver adapter sockets take the same fuses - hope you find one

As an aside (I've got 2 of these plugs and they really are sods to keep the fuse in place before you screw both bits together, as it gets held in place by downward pressure on the spring) but what does the little red arm do?

It snaps out at a 90 deg angle, but what it does - I have absolutely no idea. :nenau

I can't even figure how to get the red thing back in properly and not sure what it does... as for the spring, I took apart another socket I have and there didn't appear to be a spring inside. I would have used the fuse in that one but it says 8A on the side. Does that matter?
