Where do my google searches go to?

I've got a google search box at top of my firefox page.
The search itself works great but is there a way to go back over my previous searches?
I seem to recall when I had explorer that all my previous google searches would appear in a drop down box.

Open the searchbox dropdown, Manage Search Engins, tick - Show Search Suggestions?

thats ticked but still no entries

Do you have the Firefox/Google search page as your "home page"?

If so what do you see when you "click" in the search box in the centre of the page?

Try the History menu on the top bar if no joy there then in Firefox menu go to preferences and under Privacy there is an option to remember searches or not or customise the search history. Make sure you have the selection you want selected!
