Where t get aluminium fuel tank

Your opinion on the single threaded insert on the side, would it be better on the rear end. I will make bracket to mount it
onto the footpeg locating holes on rear sub.
Just to clarify, is this going on the RHS as a dummy exhaust ?

I found a length of 150mm dairywall but the 100mm would match
the silencer better if it's to match the silencer, your call ??

There used to be loads of XChallenges down here before that I could have taken measurements off, but they've all be sold on.
Regarding mounting it, the further back on the tank you mount it the better, when full of fuel it'll be bloody heavy.

meant say is cap a vented one? if not that doesnt matter just take it will need small vent tube at top
of neck.

Before I cut any holes for the cap I'll see if I can find a vented one, it won't be lockable though, unless you have something
we can butcher up.

i just copied that lads design and wanted to have extra bung on rear so could make propper hangar and not use sheet steel as a hangar like he did.

100mm prob be best as think he found anything over 130mm was going to interfere with chain guard.

as for tank cap.

what ever is easier for you dont go too far out of your way. i had look other week and all my caps are damaged junk off mx bikes that are now gone ot scrap as most wer drilled out at some point.

yes pitty no bikes there, i could have dropped mine down if had wilbers shock sorted.

It'd be nice to have one like this in aluminium....
