I've got one of those too!! :)

My battery is shot too :(

I haven't looked yet, but my first stop for batteries and memory and stuff like that is usually Memorybits.co.uk

I've now got 2 Dell laptops with expired batteries - Dell wanted over £100 for a new battery, so I've decided that I'm never that far from a power socket.

Let me know if you find a really cheap non-OEM supplier :)

Thats kind of where I am now. Its also sods law that says if I do buy a new one for that kind of money the laptop will go tits up a week later

i'll bet there's no room for customers once the staff get in the shop..

big business is it. this Battery lark?? :D

Surprising how many laptop batteries are generic. Just found untold number of suppliers for my Evesham (went out of business last year) laptop battery which will also fit Packard Bell, Fujitsu Siemends, Tiny, Dell, ...........

Result, give the machine a life extension.:thumb2

It may not need replacing just yet.

Some LiIon batteries develop a 'memory' due to being repeatedly recharged.

On the web you will find some free software apps that you can run, which (I think) take the battery through a deep discharge cycle. This can breathe new life into a battery, apparently - might be worth a search??

PS Sounds great, but I bet it doesn't last long.

Looking for a spare for my Samsung q45 and the best price I could get from the various battery suppliers was about £70. Then tried amazon and got a battery off their site from an outfit called "smart parts" for £43. Same capacity as original and to be honest I rotate the batteries in the machine and I can't tell from the performace whether I have the original, which is about 2 months older than the spare, or the spare fitted.
