I am wanting to buy a 'low' BMW R1200GS Sargent seat and the choice is either Nippy Normans or Calamander as I'm sure you all know.
My dilemma is this.
Due to recent threads of a negative nature, I am unsure which of the outlets to order it from!
Also, is delivery quicker from one than the other? ie does nippy get it from Calamander first?
They are the same price as each other with free delivery.

Any thoughts welcome before I go ahead and order.

Ring Calamander he is importer, not so Nippy Norman gets them from Calamander, postage wise they usually come direct from cal anyway .

Bought direct from Sargent Website (run in uk by Calamander). Very quick and painless. :thumb2

Got the low heated seat from Nippy. Find it magnificently comfortable. Took an age to arrive but there was a Sargent supply problem last summer and everybody had delays. Comms from them wasn't great but when I contacted them they gave updates (offered a refund as well).

Bought lots of other bits from him. No problems at all.

It depends what shape your backside is I guess.
I'd not been impressed with Sargent seats on bikes so after the crippling OEM seat I went for a Wunderlich seat.
From NN. I went for the regular height seat but there is a low option. NN offered a 2 week trial after purchase.
It stayed on the bike but I guess it suits me, may not suit you!

Hi If it is of interest I have a wunderlich low seat in the for sale section.

calamander & nn seem to be the sargent suppliers these days.

The main reason for me getting a Sargent seat was because the stock chair was making my cocyx go to sleep. If you are having this same problem the Sargent will sort it! :thumb2
Just don't expect the Sargent to be sumptious, because it is not. It is quite firm & not particularly well padded but it works for me & looks great.

I would say the Wunderlich is the one to go for out & out comfort BUT I just don't like the look of it personally.

Nippy was out of stock & couldn't get any more when I made an enquiry but was helpful, as he has been on other occasions. He just has this habit of going quiet on you when he has to order an out of stock item.
Rather than risk you getting it elsewhere, he takes the money & keeps you guessing for 10 days. :nenau
