where to download/share films etc for free

anybody know of a good site to do this. I've never done downloading anywhere so I'm hoping its not too complicated :rolleyes:
i fancy watch some of the latest films without going out :aidan

There are dozens of them but only a couple are legal. Since your on a Mac then iTunes and Netflix are the main ones not sure if sky's TV now works on a Mac. Anything other than that, Google is your friend. Since it probably illegal I doubt you will get too many replies.

yes i was thinking of the illegal ones I'm a rebel dont you know , I'm sure you wouldn't get into trouble for typing the name of a site down . :beerjug: anyone
 
can you not use an ip changer like unblock-us to access piratebay ?

the other one i used to use before Netflix was called YIFY torrents.

i use and pay for unblock-us on the router to access netflix USA and iplayer - works perfectly for streaming HD movies.


who'd live in the uk these days eh.. ?

So soo easy to get round the blocks that are in place though.


Hola plugin for Chrome, set to an NL based server springs to mind.


Of course, you should only be using sites like that for legally obtainable downloads anyway ;) ;)

Just checked and it seems my ISP doesn't block either of those sites. Good old Plus.net, lol :D
 
Pirate Bay!
First you need to download "Opera" web browser for Mac
www.opera.com. When downloaded click on the Opera tab in top left corner and click on "Off-Road mode" on the drop down tab.
Off road saves data usage and operates via Opera's own overseas servers, so bypasses ISP blocking of pirate bay in the UK.
Then download "BitTorrent" for Mac www.bittorrent.com/downloads/Mac
On the Opera web browser with "Off-Road mode" enabled go to www.thepiratebay.org web site, search for what you want, when you choose 'download' BitTorrent will open automatically and download film, music, book or whatever you choose.
Photo's show Pirate Bay available via my pc and phone just now using Opera and Opera Mini for Android ;-)

i have used opera for some years, and i like it, but it is a bit weird and something of an an acquired taste. imunicity just makes everything available on all your browsers.
 
Find the new Chrome based Opera is a new Animal and far better.
Immunicity causes conflicts quite often and doesn't always work.
Opera is a pretty major player, just find it easier and with no issues.

you guys like to make it complicated don't you..

There is a real simple way of access blocked websites using any browser and its safe..

Simply 'Google' search your wanted film name followed by 'torrent x264' (x264 means HD quality)

You will see all the results like normal but clicking on them results in the website blocked message. Instead of clicking directly on the link there is always a little down arrow at the end of the URL. (in green) Clicking on this gives you the Google cached page. (an historic snapshot kindly provided by Google)

All the page information including the torrent links are displayed but often the page images aren't.

ISP's cant block Google. Why the BPI / MPAA bother i have no idea!!

whatever...

truth is, i almost never use pirate bay or torrents anyway these days. there's better options IMO.
