1100 ?

I've completed my rebuild about 7,000ks ago. Top speed easy 185 slow to 195. Up 2 gears better on the mountain roads, but lost a little fuel in there some where. Better than 1200? Well FLOGS a Tiger anywhere! What did I do? RS Cams remachined and sprokets elongated ( To be adjustable). Lighten standard Piston ( Usual reduce skirt, drill journals) Result wieghed 37g reduction in each) Remus Sports (BM headers) + Modeck Fuel module. Bike now only runs on Premium Grade Fuel. You don't believe me? I build and Race an Australian Super Bike. My BM GS1100 is my loved Rally Hack. Everything that uses Petrol around my place Drinks it Properly. Why an 1100? Well read the 100s of complaints on the others! Buy a Cheap Clunker compared to SuZuki they are Cheap to rebuild! Buy a stuffed one Dirt cheap and go for it. You will wind up with a Wicked Bike! Others will challange this? I can back up what I say. Oh, lighten pistons make for a longer clutch usage to get going, like a Race Bike. My '67 T20 needs a push with my foot to get it off the line.
Hey its my 1100 I will build it how I want. It even has a Headlight that works! White the origanal colour. Yeah the screen no good so are the Panniers at over 160. Warning: this building is up to you I take no Respaonsabilty for you and your safety. BIGJim. Australia.

mine hits 200 on the clock w/o panniers if i duck under the paint on the tank :nenau

got a pipe and TFI, drilled snorkel and super precision balanced throttles :thumb.

might be only a real 185 - but who cares either way - its not about speed.

it'll run out of handling before then - but thats why i like it.

if it out handled the motor - i'll just keep going faster - like a jap bike.

don't want to go there again

PS kmh not mph :)
