Where to go etc etc

Bodyke
The only place I know in Bodyke is The Cobbler's Rest, which is good for a pint of the black stuff.
For grub I'd ramble over to Killaloe/Ballina. Quite a few nice places there. The Cherry Tree is good, as is Flanagans and Goosers. Good seafood in Goosers. They're on the Ballina side of the bridge. On the Killaloe side is Wood Brothers, good for lunch and a cracker of a breakfast. Had a great bowl of chowder there not long ago. And also I like the Wooden Spoon. Now that I list them all down I just realised that there's lots of good places to eat in town! There's more, but I haven't tried them yet.
