Where to install a Zumo 500 on GSA 09

Hi all,

I have a Zumo 500 I bought a couple of years ago. I'd like to install it in my new GSA, I don't have the bike yet just ordered last Wed, and asked the dealer to do the set up for me as part of the deal. Where's the best possition to set it up? In middle of the front bar behind the windscreen? Does the standard holder do the job and fits in properly with the ram mount?

Thanks, just want to ensure the cable is set properly before I pick up the bike.

I bought the standard beema fitting about £45 I think and attached to the garmin bracket.If you get them to fit it to the left hand side of the screen it does not get in the way of the clocks.I did mine myself easypeasy and I am no machanic.

Alternatively (And I'm not saying there is any right way of doing it!) I fitted it all myself with a £8 CAN-Bus connector from a BMW car dealership and the standard RAM mount that comes with it. I started off with it on the bars (left hand side) but moved it to just above the clocks and I'm perfectly happy with. Can post pics if necessary.
