Where to put music on a nav 4

I just put in my nav v 64 gb mem card and put loads of music on, when I went to play music on the media to my helmet it telling me to put the music in the mp3 file,,,, where the hell is the mp3 file I've searched all though the unit no where, plug in to the computer searched for mp3 file in the directory no where, have I got to create a mp3 file or what, where is it

If the software is similar to the Nav4, you'll have to ensure that all your tracks are in mp3 format. Easy to convert.

I checked the music it is mp3 format, what I did, I had a full album I would put it in a file then transfer the file onto the memery card in the garmin so instead of having a load of songs on the card, would this be the problem

Have you actually stored the files in a folder named "MP3"?

No just in the new 64gb memery card, has no folders I just placed my music on that card,,,,,if you know what I mean,,,,,
