I know ,we got the short straw again ,along with Faslane ,Coulport,we also had the Septic Tanks in the Holy Loch ,talk about all your eggs in one basket.:(

That just reminded me of a big scandal over in Dunoon 25 ish years ago when one of the American servicemen was caught taking carnal knowledge of a sheep !, he was dismissed and sent home to the States under a cloud of shame.

The week after the event, the local butcher, not slow to take advantage of the event, put a sheeps head in his shop window with the sign ,
'Forces Sweetheart £0.80 / LB'

Guid yin Scooter Boy,I used to visit the Holy Loch quite a bit pulling Large Ungainly American cars off to the scrappy ,Yank Tanks ,yank drivers and Scottish roads were not the ideal mix.A lot of them stayed behind when the base closed though think they got used a easier going lifestyle ,they should have put them over in Port Glasgow that would have got them back over the pond like a fla:rolleyes:sh

Damn I was too slow (would have been a banker for me since it's my place of employment!):augie

You have a good excuse to take the Katoom to work then Jurassic. Some fun roads around there:thumb

Normally I'd agree with you but there's so much salt on the roads just now that I prefer to use the cage to get to work (that and the fact that the bottom of Finnart hill has been home to a small glacier recently).:(
