I've said on here before that I'm thinking of trading up my 06 GSA for the newer 08 version.........
......and whilst looking over the new bike, and the various design changes, ...I've noticed that the silver plastic cover that masks ..what is the starter motor I think?? ..at the bottom l/hand side of the engine has now been ommitted!!
I thought at first it had just been left off the demo bike, but the ones at the bike show also had no covers on either.
It seems a bit strange, and I wonder about the reason, or idea, behind this change? It now leaves a bit of auxillary equipment on show that to be honest looks scruffy!
I know it's only a minor thing..I just thought the cover finished it off nicely.....and just wondered if anyone knew the thinking behind it?...........cos I can hear the presses at Touratech and Wunderlich busily pressing brushed aluminium from here!!!
...maybe that's it!....a deal BMW have done with the two of them...."it's ok boys....well leave some bits of this one for you to make parts for just in case you're running out of ideas!!"
