Where's this from then? (Mystery rubber tube near head stock!)

Just came across it yesterday. Thought it must be a breather from the fuel pump but its fairly tight. Any ideas before I start pulling the plastics?

Thought that was possible but suely it would have a wire clip on it if so? A pipe carrying petrol, even in small amounts, should be secure?

They just dangle. (they do on the 11xx/1200 anyway)

Open the fuel filler and blow or pump air down that tube, it will confirm or not that it's a breather which incidentally shouldn't have fuel coming down it, only air going through it to equalise tank/ambient air pressure.
