Went for a wee run yesterday, weather superb:thumb2. Even met a fellow tosser - Big Jets, who was out for a bimble with his mate. By the way guys, don't know if you went over the road we were speaking about? - but when I got there later it had "road closed" barriers up:eek: - I totally ignored them as usual and surprise surprise the road was perfect:thumb2 - so I hope you guys did the same??
Here's a couple of photies, the second one is a beautiful "horizon loch" a couple of miles up a barriered track - managed to get past -just!. Asolutely superb spot on a day like yesterday.

Cheers...........Grizzly:beer:

Dont know why I think it is but I do !?

I,m afraid Grizzly we turned at the stop sign .Ended up back in the wee tearoom today with the wife ,went over the top this time and not through the wooded route ,(you were right about that ).Good to meet you yesterday ,and ill no drap any hints aboot your general whereabouts yesterday .:thumb cheers Big Jets.

It looks like its one of the mountain biking forests anyway, don't think its any of 7 Stanes so Laggan or Golspie?

Not Enough Clues?

No really many clues on the two pics - but the one below should help? It's taken from the top of the hill(mountain??) with the "horizon lochs" and using full tele-photo it shows that well known?? GS stop - The Glenlyon Tearoom !!
Yes, ended up there again:thumb - but it was a great day for an area like that on a GS;) - and because Joyce was workin' I could have a look up a few tracks etc:eek:

Cheers..................Grizzly:beer:
PS....the grubs still great at the tearoom:thumb

No Ron - Didn't Use The Private Road!

That'll be the "private" road between Glen Lochay & Glen Lyon then?

Ron, I travelled up the glen from Fortingall went right up the top to the dam then part-way down and had a nosey up the road to the north to the other dam at Loch an Daimh - nice looking track up there;) - but to many hikers aroond on Sunday. Then came down to Bridge of Baglie and over the Lawers road ( with a couple of off-road diversions:rolleyes:)

Believe there's new "no thru road" signs up on the Lochay/Lyon road, but that the road does still go "thru". Been a while since I've been up further than Bridge of Balgie.
Did the Lawers/Fortingall/Rannoch road the other weekend on the BMWC Rannoch Run.
