I bought my Super Pro Avi at the October 2006 NEC bike show.

Which bluetooth dongle do I need, 1273 or 1276?

thanks

tom

If it's got a little bluesticker on Aux 1 that says only use a 4 pole socket, then it power enabled and you need a 1273, otherwise you need a 1276. alternatively you can get instructions from Autocom and do it yourself.

Aux 1 not powered

No sticker!

Dongle

Part 1276 as your AUX1 socket will not be pre-powered.

question for Rich,

Whats the physical difference between the dongles ?

The reason i ask is that i bought one from a fellow member without the box, so im unsure as to wether i have a part 1276 or 1273. My Pro Avi does not have the blue dot either.

Jumper

Isn't there a "jumper" that is inserted/moved on the circuit board to power the socket. Or am I misreading the leaflet on the Autocom website.

So I assume #1276 needs external power. Is this 9v or 12v? ( I still have the 9v/3v power supply from the first Autocom made -bought in September 93!!)

The Part 1273 is designed for our systems 07 onwards where it takes it power from the comes. The part 1276 is for the pre 07 systems and runs a seperate switched power feed as non of the phone sockets are pre-powered

Is the dongle then 12v powered from the bike?
