Which Brake Pads

Not too impressed with the buggers in there at the moment one of the back ones is shagged after 5,000 mainly touring miles .If not these pads why not .

Mate i bought mine from Hein Gericke today at a cost of 15.45. The BMW ones were quoted at 28 Squid. Took me 10 mins to fit. I have had to replace the origanal ones at 5200 Mls, i don't know if thats my bad riding or the norm mate.

I personally wouldnt trust a dodgy brand name on something as important as brakes!!!

After discussions with my dealer I got mixed impressions on the milage you should expect.

On one hand I was told 12k and the other 3k so I dont know what to believe.

Just keep checking them when you doing your weekly checks if you do actually do them. It took a scare for me to start doing mine. Its simple and takes seconds... oil, brakes, patches on the floor where you park it for leaks and thats the lot for me!!!

Ferodo Platinum from Steptoe

the subject heading says, I use these on mine, they are better than BMW pads and I'm happy with them

What Longdog said Ferodo Platinum from Steptoe....I'm impressed with mine too. They seem to crud the calipers up less as well. Result!!
