Which bulb for my R1100GS Headlight?

I'm not exactly happy with the headlight on my GS, so i'm looking at a cheap way of improving the situation. I have been looking at the PIAA Extreme White bulbs and was wondering if anyone can shed some more light (sorry I don't have a bad joke filter, or "Dad joke" according to my girlfriend) on the matter of these, or anything similar.

Oh yeah, thought i'd mention this while i'm here... I had to lay the beast down on my drive a couple of days ago, it took me a little by surprise and before I knew it I was rolling across the floor. I managed to "control" the fall enough so as not to damage anything other than my pride . Luckily I'd read the thread about how to pick the GS up a few days before so that was no problem

Changing the bulb won`t make much ( if any ) difference at all.

The fault is with the reflector design and the shape of the headlamp.

The best 'quick fix' is to fit a Touracrap or home made twin headlamp unit like on my Kalahari 1100....or fit some auxiliary lighting.

Do a Forum Search on the subject if you`ve got a week or two spare...

Is the headlight system wired with relays? It wasn't on the R1100RT. The start then is to fit relays.
