which clutch switch to buy - 2015 GSA WITH CRUISE CONTROL BUT WITHOUT SHFT ASSIST

HI All,

my GSA 2015 is no starting in first with the clutch pulled in. from a search on this forum it appears that the cliutch switch is faulty (there are actually 2 microswitches in the same assembly, i realized).

I have tried to order the correct part, but which from the enclosed is the correct part please?

what is the reference to X538A?

my bike has cruise control, but i am pretty sure it does not have the shift assist functionality

Hi Benhur , can't help with which switch you need but I'm shore I've seen a u tube video of some one with your problem & they show how to clean the switch which courses the symptoms you have on your bike .

You'd be better off calling a Dealer. I had the same issue. Asked a local mechanic to sort it. He tried but noticed there were 2 different part numbers and without removing all and sundry to find the correct part number and as mine is a daily he couldn't help. Went into the dealer and the same issue, but they were willing to order both parts and fit the correct one, saving me the labour time..
