Which cylinder head protectors?..

I'm after some new cylinder head protectors for my 56 plate R1200GSA.

I fancy the Touratech ones but on their web site they say they cannot be fitted with the BMW crash bars (which I have).

On the NN site them make no mention of this.

Does it apply to the both the GS & GSA crash bars or just the GS ones?

I have an 07 GSA with the standard GSA engine bars on and I fitted the TT Head Protectors - bit snug but no real problems

If you look at your boxer engine you'll notice the left cylinder sits more to the front. The OE crashbar is however symmetrical left and right, meaning that the left cylinder is close to the crashbar. If you have the left cylinder fitted with head protector it may touch OE crashbar, or as said above, may have a snug fit.
