Does anyone have a recommendation for a favourite northern France Christmas market?

The tinternet is pointing me towards the Amiens one but if there are others to recommend?

Cheers

Arras.

Very big market there, nice town too .. :thumb

I do the Reims one most years although last year was definately quieter I suppose due to the recession.

About 150 huts are erected in the main tourist streets -might have to try Arras on the way through

Nantes... a lovely excuse to visit and buy some shiny, furry, sparkly chrimbo additions for your GS. Enjoy your shopping trip!:thumb

Lille - Lots of stalls, Big Tree, Ferris Wheel, loads of other mainsteam shops too. Bethune is not far away but a bit smaller.

Well, just got back from a trip to Amiens via mons and have to say the Xmas market was very good, and the light show at the cathedral was top notch!!!!!

Bit nippy though, my mates bike registered -2 degrees when we were coming back past cap Gris nez!!

Cheers

We stayed in Bruges last year and the Christmas Market was very small and disappointing. Belgium seemed very expensive to us although we stayed at a sensibly priced Etap Hotel close to the railway station.
